Talbot Runhof Spring 2012 - PFW

Johnny Talbot and Adrian Runhof (Talbot Runhof) centered their Spring 2012 collection around the very 'spring' trends including polka dots, colours and prints.

Talbot Runhof's collection delightfully stood out  because of interesting dots, unusual structures in dresses, tops and skirts and refreshing summer colours.

After a fresh take on colours, their collection also had the classic black and white pieces. The popular laser cut detailing, as seen on the mighty Louis Vuitton, sprung up beautifully in the duo's collection too.

Spotted makeup faux pas on the model.

Latest Tie Up: Versace for H&M

H&M collaborates with Versace for its exclusive Fall collection. The collection will hit stores next month, but they've already launched their campaign featuring stars models Daphne Groeneveld and Lindsey Wixson.

It's become a trend for high street brands to collaborate with luxury brands for their limited edition collection. There was Missoni for Target, Valentino for Gap, Matthew Williamson for Debenhams, and Markus Lupfer for Topshop .

The latest awaited collection is the sexy and OTT Versace for H&M. In fact, it is not a first for H&M to have high-end collaboration. They've done it quite successfully in the past with labels like Viktor and Rolf, Stella McCartney, Jimmy Choo and Roberto Cavalli.

I think its a great marketing strategy. In fact a great opportunity for those who can't otherwise get these pricey labels in their wardrobes. And good for the brand too, better to work together than copy!!!
